The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern two-thirds of the Caribbean island known as Hispaniola. Its neighbour is the Republic of Haiti.

With almost 1300km of beautiful, unspoiled coastline to offer, the Dominican Republic really does offer a taste of paradise. The Island is most well known for Sugar Cane and Cigars as well as its historical links with Christopher Columbus. It is now however, fast becoming known as a premier golf destination, with a growing number of world renowned courses being built.

Santo Domingo is the islands capital and is a charming old colonial city. There is plenty of history here, ( including Columbus' remains ), as well as the modern attractions of high quality restaurants and designer stores.
